I agree. I normally set 5min early and 15 min late.<br>

Routinely I have to FF 10-12 mins from the start of a recording to get
the beginning of the show.<br>
<br>
Speaking of advert breaks, has anyone else noticed that the nice 3:59
minute breaks are now being changed to anything from 2 min, 3:30 to
4:00. <br>
Do you think they might be trying to fool people who just have a 4min
FF programmed on the remote?<br>

I find they are almost NEVER running early so set it for 1 minute
before and anything up to 10 minutes after (but at prime time when they
seem to run close to time, only 2 or 3 minutes).<br>
