I have a UHF aerial on the roof, which comes down to a
splitter then into both cards.

I have tried the aerial and all leads straight into a TV and there is no
visible corruption.

I have also recorded from a video tape
into the composite input on one
of my PVR150s and it DOES show the same corruption.

So - whats wrong... is it the cards or mythtv or ivtv or something about
the box ?

-------------------------
bt:~# lspci | grep video
01:01.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16
(CX23416) MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01)
01:02.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC16
(CX23416) MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01)

Linux bt 2.6.29.1 #2 SMP Fri Apr 10 16:32:46 NZST 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

dmesg at boot time:
ivtv: Start initialization, version 1.4.0
ivtv0: Initializing card 0
ivtv0: Autodetected Hauppauge card (cx23416 based)
ivtv 0000:01:01.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19
tveeprom 1-0050: Hauppauge model 26559, rev B260, serial# 8741972
tveeprom 1-0050: tuner model is LG S001D MK3 (idx 60, type 38)
tveeprom 1-0050: TV standards PAL(B/G) PAL(I)
