I've taken the plunge and followed the directions on mythtv.org.nz and used SVN
to get the latest mplayer, BUT I seem to have broken mythtv.</p><p>from the
command line I can capture and play back using mplayer, but mythbuntu's
frontend dies when I am trying to watch tv. I am not too sure what the
messages mean, but with the backend started (I stop it to test mplayer) I
