It seems that ppl are not "allowed" to record HD off DTT via PVR's.<br>

The article is pretty vague but what they are getting at is that if your Freeview box only outputs HD via HDMI then you'll need a PVR with HDMI input to record HD content and AFAIK they don't exist.<br>

</blockquote><div><br>Of course not. They can dictate whatever restrictions they like as far as approved devices go, but they can't do anything about unapproved devices. If they broadcast unencrypted you are free to use whatever device you like to receive that signal.<br>
