So this is a network drive?  If so, please provide some more details
about it.  Is it a SAMBA drive?  NFS?  What sort of server is the
drive on?  What permissions does the other end allow the mythtv user
and group?  Does its log have any relevant messages?

You might like to try manually deleting one of the recording files
that fails to delete.  Just pick one from the mythbackend log.  Log in
as a user in the mythtv group - the one that runs mythfrontend is a
good one to pick, as the mythtv user itself is not normally set up
with the ability to login.  Then use the rm command and see if the
delete works.  For example:

  rm /media/Recordings/2002_20130912040400.mpg
