[mythtvnz] Recording dropouts and disk performance...

I had a similar problem a while ago and it turned out to be the IRQ that the SATA controller was using was shared with the video card and a whole bunch of other things.You may want to turn off as many peripherals in the motherboard BIOS (e.g. COM1, LPT1, etc) that you are not using and try to move the SATA controller onto its own IRQ, is there anything else on the SATA controller?Perhaps a DVD, try disconnecting that?Also, you may want to consider putting each of the drives (I recall you are using software raid-1?) on their own controller as a last resort.Cheers DouglasQuoting Rob Connolly <rob at webworxshop.com>:
