[mythtvnz] Help-can't get grabber and mythfilldatabase to work right

The file we are referring to is called config.xml ?
There was only tv_grab_nz-py.conf in   /.xmltv
config.xml was in /.mythtv
I'm not seeing freeview.xmltv anywhere.
System info in the frontend says I have 8 days of data to 29th April but
all fields in the schedule after 17:30 today contain only "."

The procedure I used said to use EIT in the configure process as well as  
tv_grab_nz-py
