Are you still running your recordings disk as xfs? The Expiry routine
runs every 14 mins so will tend to run at the same time each hour just
drifting backwards slowly.

I have some queries about the figure of 102.O GB as Max required Free
Space ... on my system the same message has a figure of 1.0 GB :

2012-10-14 07:20:23.444 AutoExpire: CalcParams(): Max required Free
Space: 1.0 GB w/freq: 15 min

I don't really know what the message means but I wonder if your 102 GB
means that the routine spends too long checking for 102 GB of expired
recordings?

With my setting of 1 GB I have never had a problesm .... Another
"perhaps dead end ? " for you to chase down.

Addenda
It seems that this setting "Extra Disk Space" is set in
Front End > Setup > TV Setup > General > Screen 2

The help text says this is the Amount of Disk space you want kept free
on the Recording Drive(s) in excess of what myth requires.
