The fault is total repeatable/reproducible.
>From the playback logging to stdout it appears (to me) to be
parser/decoder error.
I'll find some examples & post the titles & time offset.

There is no error reported by ffmpeg (version N-38726-gad029c2) when
decoding.

I'm using iec958 output no upmix, no resampling, AC3/DTS as pass-thru'.
