I'm not sure this is a permissions problem. Both the backend and 
frontend are running as the user mythtv, which owns the livetv 
directory. The username shown in the snippet I quoted is because I 
logged in over ssh to copy and paste that - sorry for the confusion. 
I'll definately check this again, just in case.
