Whether the wakeups work or not seems to depend on what motherboard
and BIOS you have.  They mostly say they support the scheduled wakeup
feature, but only some actually work.  I tried it with my MythTV box,
and it never woke up even when I was manually setting the wakeup time
in the BIOS settings.
