[mythtvnz] Anyone using myth backend/xbmc frontend combo?

I've been using XBMC in front of mythbackend for eons. I'm now the
defacto maintainer of MythTV bits in XBMC but don't really have enough
time to do it justice.

The player in XBMC is based on ffmpeg. Several issues with playback of
mpegts have been raised and fixed over the years. Thankfully the LATM
support was finally included in ffmpeg a while back so both MythTV and
XBMC didn't need to keep running with patches for that.

Below is an XBMC trac ticket that follows some of the diagnosis of the
problem with playback stopping after seeking in XBMC. All the files
that exhibited the problem seemed to have a timestamp discontinuity in
them.

duration being wildy off.

ffmpeg moved to trac at some point so the links to issues raised with
ffmpeg don't go anywhere useful anymore.

My HTPC is still running a really old version of XBMC so some of the
seeking issues might have been resolved.
