Does anybody know if there are new MHEG services planned for dvb-t
freeview ?

Are there plans for a news feed using mheg ? or does private really mean
private & the news feed is for internal use ?

Didn't know that OTA firmware updates were being 'provided' for blu-ray
players. Bad enough the bd disks can revoke the players without having
to contend with firmware updates.
