[mythtvnz] Can Myth's tolerance threshold for DVB-S signal be adjusted to prevent early recording exit?

Hi,

I've had my Myth box tuning into the Oz SBS channels on DVB-S channels
for a couple of weeks (standard def) and it's been going fine but I've
noticed lately that many recordings either don't start or end
prematurely. These tend to be in the wee hours (12-2am) and where a
programme is partially recording I notice blocking artifacts appear in
the recording before the exit point. I'm assuming there's some sort of
atmospheric/line-of-site issue weakening the signal at this time but
darned if I know why it's just started happening. Anyone know if there
is some way of altering the signal or Bitrate Error threshold that
causes Myth to cough so something less sensitive or is this at the DVB-
S  card or card-driver level (2x Technosats)?

These are the readings I'm getting on a lock on the SBS frequency
around 7.30pm:

Signal=61698, Verror=0, SNR=43785dB, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=61945, Verror=882, SNR=44427dB, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=61810, Verror=1168, SNR=44484dB, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=61491, Verror=732, SNR=44586dB, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=62071, Verror=834, SNR=44949dB, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=61996, Verror=644, SNR=45003dB, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)
Signal=62180, Verror=469, SNR=45168dB, BlockErrors=0, (S|L|C|V|SY|)

Cheers,
Matt
