[mythtvnz] New GPU Decode in OSX - MythTV to support?

XBMC seem to have implemented the recently-announced GPU decode API support
in OSX 10.6.3:
http://xbmc.org/davilla/2010/05/03/osx-gets-h-264-accelleration/

A quick Google indicates that the MythTV community hasn't started discussing
it yet. Anyone know anything more?
