I have attempted to install the NVIDIA 256 series drivers from the JYA repo
on a Lucid 64bit frontend.

I am aware of this mailing list thread, and have done what it says to do:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/441476

I have purged out everything with "nvidia" in the name. I'm getting this
error during install:

$ sudo aptitude install nvidia-glx-256 nvidia-settings
nvidia-256-kernel-source nvidia-256-modaliases

I'm a bit nervous about uninstalling libg11-mesa-dev - it seems a bit daft
seeing as everything works fine with the 195 series driver.

Is anyone else using the 256 series driver?

Jonathan
