In that vain

USE WALL PLATES EVERYWHERE with fly leads to devices

Ran a 15M HDMI cable though walls as doing renovation. Flat roof so no ceiling space, concrete floor,TV's cables terminating in Gib bracing units. All done painted, So F-wit breaks in steals Plasma off the wall, cables getting ripped out of the sockets on the TV, You can't fix broken streched cat6 cables, broken and bent HDMI plugs, total bill $300 in cable $3400 in builders, plasters, council building inspections, painters etc. Yes insurance eventually paid for it, but 3 walls opened up 2 ceilings. You can't re-pull and HDMI cable tough a wall, you have to take all the linings off.

Had wall plates been used , would have been a few fly leads and maybe some wall plate connectors.
