Hi,

I tried an upgrade and had seg faults when running the frontend.

Try typing the following in a console:

dpkg --list | grep myth

This will list all the installed packages relating to mythtv.

Look for a package

libmyth-0.21-0

This is the library for the mythtv version 0.21. It does not appear to
be uninstalled during the upgrade and messes up the 0.22 programs.

If you have it uninstall it by typing:

sudo apt-get remove libmyth-0.21-0

This should remove the library.

Reboot and see if this works.

Good luck.

David
