[mythtvnz] Nova-T 500 Remote not working

Thanks for the help, unfortunately no improvement.
I fixed the firmware. No change.
Tried your suggested udev rules however no nodes turned up in /dev/input/.
I am on ubuntu/mythbuntu 9.04 so shouldn't need the hal fix but tried it
anyway. No luck.

Here are the outputs from some relivant commands:

My dmesg | grep -i dvb is
