So, after doing major recovery jobs on my HDD three times in a month,
I'm starting to get the hint that its dying (3yr old IDE 200GB Seagate).
I'm still running an SD (Intel P3) combined FE/BE with an IDE
motherboard, and don't have the cash (or time) right now to do any major
upgrades. Looking at prices, SATA is a lot cheaper and generally more
future proof, so I thought to get a SATA drive and an adaptor like this:

Has anyone tried this before? Good/bad experience?

Thanks
Nick
