[mythtvnz] mplayer missing

I am running Jean-Yves' "testing" patches on Mythbuntu 9.04 64 bit. I
initially upgraded to the 185 Nvidia driver, and that is the last time
I can remember trying mplayer. Since, I have done the downgrade back
to the 180 driver, and tonight when I tried to play a .flv file, I was
having problems with the internal player (unable to skip forward), so
I tried to use mplayer. But it was not installed - it must have been
uninstalled in the downgrade process. So I tried to use Synaptic to
install it, but was told that the only version of mplayer available
was built for the 185 drivers. So I tried to go back to the 185
drivers, and Synaptic told me that if I did that, it would uninstall
all of MythTV as all those packages were built for 180 only. Is there
any way around this? Either an mplayer package built for 180, or
MythTV packages built for 185? Or have I just screwed up my
repository settings somewhere?
