I am running JYA's release packages on Mythbuntu 9.04. I have a
couple of downloaded AVI files that have 24 kHz MP3 audio tracks.
Mplayer has no problem with them, but mythfrontend does not play any
sound from them. So I created a couple of short test AVI files,
otherwise identical, one with 48 kHz audio and one with 24 kHz audio,
and the same thing happens. Mplayer has no problems, but mythfrontend
can not play the 24 kHz audio.

I have put the test files on my web server (about 6 Mibytes each):

  http://www.jsw.gen.nz/test_48_kHz_MP3.avi
  http://www.jsw.gen.nz/test_24_kHz_MP3.avi

Here is the mythfrontend.log for the 48 kHz file:

Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on how to fix this?
