[mythtvnz] Problems after Mythbuntu update.

I've been striking some problems with our Mythbuntu (8.10) box, so I 
thought I'd run a software update to make sure I'm on the latest stuff.
The update installed a kernal patch, 2.6.27-9 up to 2.6.27-11.
This screwed my Nvidia 180.22 drivers which I dutifully reinstalled.
Now the box will not auto-logon and is also reporting problems and 
requesting I review ~/.xsession-errors.

WAF and brownie points are now deep in the red.

Have tried the Mythbuntu config tools to disable and re-enable auto 
login, without any success.

For tonight I've conceded defeat, and will pull the .xsession-errors 
file to look at it tomorrow night.

In the meantime any one stumbled across the same issue or have any 
suggestions???
