[mythtvnz] Have I got a dodgy DVB-T card?

Further to James' issues with his box, my box experienced some similar
issues on its return home. Seeing James' setup with wireless keyboard
reminded me that I couldn't connect to my cellphone to Ubuntu 8.10 due
to bluetooth being partially broken in 8.10. Since I had upgraded to
9.04b the previous day I thought it apt to see if I could get the
bluetooth pairing to work again, which it did. All smiles as I could
now send and receive text messages through my computer again.

However...mythtv started to play up in exactly the same way as James'
box did. Mythtv was unable to lock to the signal. Removal of the
dongle did not remedy the signal lock issue, the box needed to be
shutdown and rebooted without the dongle. I tried adding and removing
the dongle several times with similar results. So, my feeling is that
there is some signal interference between bluetooth and DVD-T card,
maybe because they are both USB based??? Pure speculation as this area
is well out of my area of expertise.

James, have you tried your system without any wireless mouse/keyboard?

Regards
Justin
