[mythtvnz] Skystar 2 on Ubuntu : scan finds no channels?

Then you need a scan file as follows - eg D1.freeview

# Optus D1 satellite 160E
#
# Only contains the freeview transponders
# See http://www.lyngsat.com/optusd1.html
#
# freq pol sr fec
S 12483000 H 22500000 3/4
S 12456000 H 22500000 3/4


Then type

scan -l 11300 D1.freeview

You should then get a channel scan back.

If that doesn't work try

scan -v -l 11300 D1.freeview
