Yep. As one of the people who have had no time, I'll pipe up here. =)

What this needs is some simple changes made to the code base. The
changes would be straight forward for someone who has either

a) worked on the MythTV code base before
or
b) works with C/C++ code on a regular basis

Given that I have neither of these things, it is going to take a huge
amount of time for me to get around to this.

Anyone who wants to give this a go, Steven and or I can point you to the
posts which describe the procedure.
Failing that, anyone who wants Imparja should post to the mythtv-dev
list and request this feature to be added.

We have already made people aware that this is an issue for every DVB-S
user in Aus and NZ, but I think they equate this to 3 people and 65
million sheep =).

The point has also been made that if this was a problem in the US it
would be considered a "No Brainer" and fixed in 2 minutes.

To Summarise:

C/C++ coders, contact Steven or myself.
People who want Imparja - Post to the dev list and make some noise.
