[mythtvnz] Cause of occasional audio/video jumps in playback?

2-way all ports power passive splitter here. I need to do a bit more  
testing and see if the artifacts are in the files themselves or only  
occuring during playback. It's not something that occurs at the start  
of a recording though, it can happen throughout. It looks like some  
sort of data syncing artifact.
