OK so the cabling tally at the moment is:

2x Lexcom cable to most outlets
Dedicated 2-channel 14AWG speaker cable in two rooms
1x RG6 cable for HDTV in the future

Is dual-shield RG6 sufficient for future-proofing HDTV? I've heard the
quad is only necessary if you live in the shadow of a TV transmitter or
similar?

I don't want to rely on some distributed audio solution running over the
Lexcom nor do I want to be limited to using active speakers at outlets,
hence the speaker cable.

These rooms are unlikely to require 5:1 audio in future but at a pinch I
could add rear speaker outlets using a HomePlug transmitter/receiver
and active speakers run over the mains cable.

Does this sound like a good plan?
