What about the Hauppauge Digital/Analogue cards? I was thinking about
the HVR-1100 for the FreeView, mostly as I only have one PCI slot in my
myth box (currently a PVR-150)<br>

No, the SkyStar2 does not have a CI module or an interface for one.
This card will let you view TVNZ's test channels and (hopefully)
FreeView channels when they launch.
