I am using an serial receiver, this what i did: 1) Downloaded the necessary files for lirc and i ran setup but i dint able to make and make install it gives me an output "make: *** No targets. Stop." 2) I somehow managed to modprobe it and when i ran irw there is no output and says connection refused. I am lost now. How do i do from scratch. Thanks. Rama.
