[mythtvnz] Remote frontend and music

Hi all

I have recently added a remote frontend to my mythtv setup. This allows
me to watch recorded shows in another room, but when I try to listen to
music I get Decoder error: Unable to open file: Error 5 or there abouts.
I guess this is because the music files are not local on the machine
trying to play the music. Am I correct or have I missed something in the
setup?

Does that mean that those that are able to listen to music have it
stored on a sharable drive using NFS or samba or such between the machines?

This would seem to me to be odd if myth will stream video files across a
network but not music files.

This also seems to apply to mytharchive, as it also requires the files
being archived to be local.

Cheers
