[MCC-Thursday] CPAGB PDI entry Border Question

Hi all,

I am just putting my PDI CPAGB entry together as I will have to submit 
it imminently.
I have a query about borders on PDI images. I am sure we discussed it at 
one of the Thursday groups but cant recall the conclusion.
I am guessing (like a lot of judges comment) borders are generally 
frowned upon on PAGB entries, but a subtle border is OK on some images ( 
e.g. where the image bleeds into black at the edges and you cant tell 
where the image ends).
(by subtle I mean  1 pixel 20-30%)

Is this the vibe anyone has picked up who has been through the process?

I have a couple of images that fall into that category and don't want to 
make a faux pas.
