[MCC-Thursday] 4th Thursday Group this Thursday

We have the first 4th Thursday group this coming Thursday.

One of the aims of the group was to encourage members to stretch their 
photography beyond the club by entering for RPS distinctions, PAGB and 
FIAP awards. We had some successes last year and there are 4 people 
already entered for the upcoming CPAGB and several others considering 
entering.

On Thursday three people are bringing along their progress so far in 
putting together their ideas for entries for some feedback and discussion.

If you have a project or any new work you want to bring along to show to 
the group that would be great. It doesn't have to be towards anything in 
particular just to get some feedback and discussion going. Let me know 
if you can bring something along.

Also you may be aware that the club purchased a Spyder LensCalc for 
calibrating autofocus on cameras. It has been suggested that it would be 
good to demonstrate how to use it and the benefits it can give you. The 
club also has the Spyder monitor calibrator which we could also show and 
I know many of you have already used it.
Personally I think using the LensCalc is far more beneficial and have 
certainly noticed the difference since I used it.
