Dear all,

Those of you who are regular attenders at EC3 talks will have met Kim.
She works at Culham on fusion energy and will certainly give a good
lecture. Note that the start time is 4:15pm

Best wishes,

Bill.

Subject: [IEE-EC3] I'm speaking at UTC Reading!

Hi all,

I hope you’re all well.

On 5th June I’m giving a talk at the UTC in Reading as part of their IET Women in STEM lecture series. At the moment there are only 17 people signed up, so it would be great if EC3 could help to publicise the event.

I will be giving an inspirational lecture about how we make stars on earth, that Engineering is a brilliant career, and how young people can get involved. It’s not just open to girls! Boys, parents, teachers, and anyone with an interest are more than welcome to. The event information and sign-up can be found here:

Would it be possible to send some information out to our mailing list? And please could someone forward the message onto the Berkshire committee (I can’t find an email for them at the moment)?

Cheers!
Kim
