Patient monitoring in hospital and at home is evolving rapidly due to
the advances being made in sensors, telemetry and computation.

Three current projects will be described, highlighting the impact of
technology on the diagnostic, control and alarm possibilities which
are the anticipated outcomes of each project.

Electrical Impedance Tomography

Neonatal monitoring from modified feeding tubes

A novel blood-pressure measuring implant.
