Spencer Norton and myself attended the Heathrow exhibition in the Nicolson
Centre.

On the down side there is still no information on flight paths. (2022 ?)

However, this exhibition was in effect forced on Heathrow Airport by a
change in government regulations.

The difference is that it lays out the entire scheme (Master Plan) for the
whole development, including construction phases and "worst case" scenarios.

If you want to get a feel for the whole project through its development it
is worth a visit to this or one of the other sites. There is a very large
scale model of the development with computer tablet enhanced information and
excellent sound booths where you can experience noise levels for different
aircraft types leaving different runways. The biggest impact for our area
will be the M25 and A4 reconstruction and heavy lorry traffic on the M4.
Interestingly, regulations limit how deeply the M25 can be excavated, so
there will actually be a hump in the new runway where it crosses the M25!
