Hi Karl

I know you have already seen this but it occurs to me that a goodly number of HTS Members could be very interested in hearing their MP speak on matters relating to the Election.

I wonder therefore if you would agree to circulate the mail below to the HTS Membership.

      Dear Taplovians,

Your Member of Parliament, The Rt Hon. Dominic Grieve QC MP has agreed to speak to invited Guests following the AGM of the Taplow & Dorney Branch of the Beaconsfield Constituency Conservative Association which is to be held in the Village Hall on 20th March 2015.

The Country is approaching a General Election that could see

the enormous achievements of the Coalition Government led by David Cameron brought to nought should Labour win or form a coalition with the SNP. It is vital therefore that you should know just how important your vote will be to ensure that the job of rebuilding the economic strength of our country continues under a Conservative Government that has already achieved great success by helping to create sound employment opportunities for millions of our citizens.

Dominic's role as Attorney General ceased when the Prime Minister parted company with him because he was opposed to the party's plans regarding the European Convention on Human Rights which he strongly believes are incapable of implementation. However, he rightly said "it is only under a Conservative Administration that The People of Britain will be given a referendum that will deliver what we wish for and provide our Prime Minister with the powerful mandate he must have to negotiate a new deal for us all".

The alternative to that is too awful to contemplate. Ed Miliband and Alex Salmond are hell bent on uniting us with the Eurozone group of countries whose Political Leaders are determined in their cooperative ambition to create a United Federal States of Europe in which you can be certain of two things only; firstly Brussells Bureaucrats will become even more powerful and secondly that endemic corruption within the EU Administration will continue unabated.

These are worrying times. The result of this General Election will affect

not only your children but also your grandchildren. It is only by voting

Conservative that we stand any hope of keeping Britain and its Economy on the successful pathway it has followed since 2010. You really must think seriously about Voting Conservative, and if you have any doubts why you should, you really must take this opportunity to come and put your questions and concerns to Dominic at this meeting.

You are therefore invited to attend, and hopefully you will accept. The

Village Hall will accommodate around 100 folk with some standing. There is likely to be keen interest so if you want to be sure of a place please book now to avoid disappointment. A donation of £2 per attendee will cover a glass or two of wine. A reservation proforma is attached below. Please print off and send to me a.s.a.p.

Please arrive no earlier than 8pm to ensure the business of the Branch AGM has been completed following which wine will be served. Dominic will then give an address and take questions.

To all Taplovians, who like me love Taplow and the lifestyles we enjoy here; whether it's the facilities at the Flexello Field where rugby, cricket & football are played, or dog-walking is enjoyed by many, or maybe the Village Green where the children play and our Mid-Summer Party is a joy for all who attend, or perhaps it's the Taplow Cricket Club where so many of you enjoy Summer Evenings with your families, or even the Reading Room in the Village Hall that was built and paid for by public subscription so that poorer folk could learn to read and where daily newspapers and books were supplied.....

I'd like to leave you with the thought that all these facilities that you

enjoy, and perhaps take for granted, came into being almost entirely as a result of conservative minded benefactors gifting huge sums to the parish, and which have made it what we enjoy today.

Hopefully. you will make every effort to attend...Dominic is a fantastic

speaker, and you can be assured of an illuminating address about our

      Country's prospects.

The General Election on 7 May is about your Family's future....make

sure it will be a secure one.

      Kind regards to All,

      George
