The South Bucks District Council Planning Committee wll be meeting at the
Council offices -  Capswood, Oxford, Denham  UB9 4LH  - at 4.15pm on this
coming Wednesday, 14 March, to consider the application to regenerate the
Bishop Centre by demolishing all the existing buildings and building a
shopping mall comprising a large Tesco supermarket next to a straight line
of 11 other large and medium size shops

 

The Council Officers are recommending that the application be refused. 

 

The Council have received more than 100 objections to the application. The
applicant, Land Securities, will be speaking at the meeting in an attempt to
persuade the Committee to ignore the Officers recommendation and to approve
the application. The public are entitled to attend but not to speak.

 

If you object to the application it will help the Committee to reach a
decision if you attend the meeting in the Public Gallery to signify the
strength of the opposition to the application.
