If you can't get the mail how you want it, I would as a back stop try using webmail. If the service appears to be trying dis-establish dial users, then sadly, maybe they are winning. 'feature' for its <BR>(declining / disincentivised?) dialup clients - a user timeout on POP, <BR>triggered by large attachment downloads.<BR><BR>So, for the first time in aaages I've now got broken software on my main <BR>gnu/linux box - hence the reply delay. Thunderbird is unable to <BR>send/receive mail via ppp temporarily (the timer icon just keeps its <BR>circling). Not sure where to look to fix that; have tried reinstalling <BR>Thunderbird but no change.
