Hello All,

Welcome to Software Freedom Day! - https://www.softwarefreedomday.org

We have a local team involved (since launch year 2004) -
http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2018/New%20Zealand/Christchurch

Advertising has been in place all week -
https://www.ccc.govt.nz/news-and-events/find-a-learning-opportunity/show/1750

We are in the South Library PC lab, as usual twice each month and for
this special event -
https://my.christchurchcitylibraries.com/south-library/learning-centre/

If you'd like to assist, or introduce any new users to FOSS at this
occasion, do come along. We offer help with software installation too.

We have a specialist track underway, helping people better access the
GNU/Linux configuration inside their Android cellphones; but the main
focus of the library workshops is PC operating system education:
whatever distributions people want to bring along, for show and tell, on
a liveDVD/CD or USB stick. Overhead projector available onsite.

Come along and join the SFD fun! See you there, from 10am to 2pm.

Kind regards

Rik Tindall

P.S. an ISP email glitch means you may or may not have received a
version of this yesterday? Apologies, if so.
