Then we'd start in on agreeing what to change it to. No problem.
Another interpretation is that FSOA now exists, nominally, though we're
the only constituent part to it so far. Advertising our (charter's)
existence is an invitation to others to formalise in the same way, and
speak to umbrella issues as is useful & necessary.

There are a few points (#5-#8) for which that is true. So a minimalist
charter could be extracted, cutting it down to the max. But the fuller
version conveys more specific orientations, for the longer haul, and
given where we are presently at.
Btw, I think we are "running" already, 2.5 GNUz years later, hence the
more distant objectives coming into sight. We've pretty much got them
all listed now though, it seems.
And until enough people vote on it, willing to fill out the FSANZ
administrative roles, I don't think we can claim it as a finished
"Constitution". That's why I'm using the 'FSANZ Charter' term, while we
wait..
Once this stage is complete, we should ask (NZOSS?) that notice be
forwarded through to each B/G/LUG, inviting national participation in
finishing and fulfilling the FSANZ Constitution.
Thanks
