nah, pebble's just too out of date. Apart from running a 2.4 kernel, it's destroyed apt so you can't update, and the atheros drivers are ancient. 

I use voyage, which is brill, and am also looking into astlinux, which the jury's still out on ( obviously the functionality's extended on that one, but that's what I'm after for that box ).

I did have to download and compile the latest version of kismet to get it to work with the madwifi_ng drivers. This required serious juggling of space, installation of compilers and a lot of patience as I did it in situ, rather than cross compiling!

IMHO voyage is by far the best. Now I just want to incorporate the best of IPCop into the mix...
