Congratulations Brent & Noel on getting SFD launched in Wellington, and 
for putting both our towns 'on the map' (and that you displayed). Like 
us in Christchurch, no doubt you have gained a useful store of

Without going into detail about the SF-Day just now, may I ask if this 
could perhaps be the first step taken towards a coordinated national 
FOSS day activity? If so, it probably wants immediate encouragement, and 
extraction of every last ounce of value towards still greater profile 
for FOSS use.
