Hello people,

One week from tonight is the next GLU workshop. Details are:

7.30pm Thursday May 5th, Sydenham Community Association Hall,
25 Hutcheson Street, Sydenham, Christchurch. All welcome.
Topic: Apache web server. Speaker: Steve Holdaway.

This session has been custom made to meet demand, and Steve's content
description is:

Apache "installation
integration with php and mysql -> LAMP
ssl >> certificates
virtual server management and
basic access security"

Although the demo platform will be Debian, setup detail is not
distro-specific.

Meeting costs are offset by standard LUG donation.

An example of what a formal training approach to our subject looks like
(from elementary) may be seen here:
http://www.pugetsoundtechnology.com/training/apache/

Hoping to see you on the 5th.

Cheers,

Rik
