A PRNG that isn't ... Doom

The old video game Doom had all its sources released a few years ago, and
lots of people have been looking at how id Software managed to cram so much
functionality into such a small package ...

In this case, Doom is a little bit unusual with its approach to RNG ...

They pre-generated a table of numbers, and step through this. There is no
deliberate seed, but player actions call for random numbers and that
effectively seeds each playthrough.
