Yeah, you are affected by changes to the kernel.  Paul is referring to 
the thread 'OneRNG new scripts for testing' and the three files therein

Just replace your existing onerng_verify.py, onerng.conf, onerng.sh with 
the test scripts.  Save your old files if you like, but I've been 
running the new scripts since release with zero issues.

I verified with wireshark that the data is definitely on the wire, and 
the kernel *should* be accepting it, but there isn't any feedback 
mechanism anymore :(

- it's the best/only solution for newer kernels for now.
