I have the same problem and sort of fixed it.

Used duck tap on the inside of the tyre and put a tube in it.

In choosing the tube it is very important to get the valve coming out right, there is straight and bent valves options for the tubes, I chose the wrong one and if not for a cable tie it would disappear back into the rim.

Does anyone have an old ride-on mower with reasonable front wheels? One of mine has lost its valve (it's tubeless) and knackered the tyre. It's a really useful mower for hacking out overgrown areas so I'd like to bodge it back together.

Tried sack barrow wheels but they fold up when you try to go round corners!!

It's a White (MTD) which is an American make hence the shaft diameter is 5/8 inch
