My '852D' </font><font face="Souvenir Lt BT"><font face="Souvenir
Lt BT">Soldering </font>Station's soldering iron element had
given up the ghost. <br>

For those who might have been tempted to throw out the whole
soldering station because the front temperature potentiometer for
the soldering iron didn't appear to reliably work any longer, it
just needed a replacement soldering iron element. It wouldn't heat
the soldering iron tip either. The hot air blower/desoldering
facility still worked O.K. but it DID need another soldering iron
heating element.<br>

I have just imported some new ceramic soldering iron elements for
the 852D soldering station. I only wanted two replacement elements
but was forced to buy about 15 of them from Aliexpress. If someone
wants a spare element or two, just let me know. <br>

They're free of charge but you will need to collect them from my
Bryndwr home. Because of my mounting age and disability mobility
problems involved in posting them to you, it is less convenient to
do that rather having someone pick them up.,<br>
<br>
The model '852D' soldering station came under several different
brand names but the general appearance for the whole soldering
station remains the same, only the branding on the front panel
changes. It's a wonderful bench-top tool and I really missed it
while it was not soldering any longer.<br>
