      I'm not quite sure what the problem is and what solution it needs
      but would the MAX232 TTL to RS232C  (RS232C is the standard I/O
      port protocol of your PC or Laptop) converter chip do the trick?
      It might allow you to use several of them if several input
      channels are required.<br>

          probably meet your need. I haven't researched this, but I
          expect there will be suitable drivers available. You might
          need two ICs, one inverting and one non-inverting. If one
          output isn't grunty enough, two or more outputs can be
          parallelled.
