should take a sample of each piece for the club stock. Not sure
how you store them? Maybe club just keeps end of reel lines? Do I
need to build some sort of rack system for the reels? Doubt
whether Radiotek would use them in forseable future.

I personally won't take any as can see the damn things!!

Subject: SMD components
<br>
<br>
Our fine friends at Trimble have donated a whole pile of SMD stuff
to
<br>
the BR05 radio club, as well as to us at the Robotics Group.
<br>
<br>
The main condition of the donation is that the plastic reels which
the
<br>
components are packaged on must not leave the BR05 club-room --
this is
<br>
very important.
<br>
<br>
In terms of actual components, they will be up for grabs at the
Robotics
<br>
meeting tomorrow (as well as the Tuesday evening BR05 meeting).
Prices
<br>
are 'reasonable donations' to our host club, via the brown-box.
<br>
<br>
If this interests you, bring some plastic bags, pieces of paper to
mark
<br>
contents, and a pen.
<br>
<br>
Component sizes are mainly 0603 and 0805 which can be handled
reasonably
<br>
easily.
<br>
<br>
Finally, please apply a little social conscience about how much
you
<br>
take; maybe limit purchases to 10% of each reel, or 300mm strip
lengths,
<br>
whichever is the smaller.
<br>
<br>
A quick show of hands via this email service would be appreciated
this
<br>
evening just to gauge level of interest.
<br>
<br>
See you Monday evening.
<br>
<br>
Regards,
<br>
<br>
Mark
